Discovering Your True Worth: Embracing Your Natural Identity

Identity, who you were born to be, thoughts, ideas, worth. Have you ever thought about how much you're worth? We as people place values on everything; both consciously and subconsciously. It drives how we act, our decision making, and level of importance of people, places and things. According to recent psychological studies, humans make approximately 35,000 decisions daily, with 95% being influenced by our subconscious value systems and beliefs about self-worth.

It begins with personal value. How we see ourselves. Our strengths, weaknesses, reflection on our past are all attributes of the value we place on ourselves. As Psalm 139:14 reminds us, "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." This timeless truth reinforces our inherent value as uniquely created individuals.

I just love analogies, so here we go. Lions are born, nurtured and raised to be strong, resilient, confident, powerful hunters, and the list goes on. Research from wildlife biologists shows that lions inherently know their role in the pride from birth - with cubs displaying leadership qualities as early as six months old. They maintain these intrinsic behaviors throughout their lives, with 90% of their actions being instinct-driven. They were made this way. They don't question how they were made, they just are. Sometimes, we as humans can get in our own way, talk ourselves out of how we were made, who we are to become and taking the necessary steps to get there.

You were born to lead, serve, educate, offer a helping hand, love - and most importantly, to embrace your authentic self. Stand strong within that and take action. Your inherent worth isn't determined by external validation but by accepting and acting on who you were truly meant to be.
